How does LearningLeaders create curriculum? Is it standardized?

We have a full-time team of public speaking and debate experts that are actively reviewing our existing curriculum and course progression and always working to make it better.

All of the LearningLeaders curriculum is designed by our own coaches and not taken from outside sources.  Of course, we are inspired by other debate and public speaking coaches as well as experts from many other fields, including economics, science, philosophy, sociology, and many more.  Every season we revise and update our curriculum to ensure that not only is the content reflecting changes in the outside world but also that we are continuing to innovate our coaching methodology to remain relevant to students' lives and learning styles.

At LearningLeaders our primary goal is to deliver impactful learning experiences that delight and inspire and which cultivate meaningful and truly lifelong skills. In pursuing this goal we are constantly making efforts to improve the quality of the experiences we offer. This involves expanding the capabilities of our coaches, seeking out new and exciting competitive opportunities for our community, and revising our curriculum and course progression based on our accumulation of experience with and careful assessment of student performance.

We have a full-time team of public speaking and debate experts that are actively reviewing our existing curriculum and course progression and always working to make it better. Please do not hesitate to familiarize yourself with brochure outlining the existing learning pathways through the LearningLeaders program. Our accumulation of experience with students may, and often does, lead us to conclude that an important course could be added to or removed from our course progression. We fully understand that this can lead to frustration on the part of families who seek to move through the progression quickly and equip their children with these all-important skills as soon as possible. However, we urge all families to understand that acquiring these skills cannot and should not be rushed arbitrarily. Mastering these skills is a lifelong effort that even the LearningLeaders coaches, politicians, lawyers, and professionals from all industries continue to actively pursue.

LearningLeaders will start students on a pathway of self-discovery and self-actualization that students will continue on throughout the many exciting chapters of their lives. We hope to poise students for success in their personal, academic, and professional lives and we design courses with this goal in mind. If you have any questions about the course program or progression, please reach out to Coach Mike at michael@learningleaders.com. When we make changes to the course progression we will do our best to let families know well in advance of the next term.

With this in mind, there are a few important aspects of the LearningLeaders experience that we would love for you to be involved in. We may ask you at points during the study term to provide feedback on your experience with LearningLeaders both as a student and parent.

We would greatly appreciate honest feedback so that we can improve our program and maximize the value all members of the LearningLeaders community can get from their experience with us.
